The oil pump circulates engine of excavator oil under pressure to the rotating bearings, the sliding pistons and the camshaft of the engine. This lubricates the bearings, allows the use of higher-capacity fluid bearings and also assists in cooling the engine. | |||
Working Principle the oil pump to rotate faster and distribute more oil when engine RPMs increase. The pump turns and pulls oil from the pan through a pickup tube. It then pushes pressurized oil through the oil filter and into the engine. |  | ||
