Properly adjust the pump flow through the PC valve to correspond to changes in engine speed.

In addition, the current of PC-EPC is also related to factors such as to monitor instructions and main pump pressure.

working principle

The computer detects the actual speed of the engine through the speed sensor. When the load increases and the engine speed decreases, the computer will issue a command to the PC-EPC valve, so that the command current flowing to the PC-EPC solenoid valve increases according to the decrease in the engine speed. Large, to reduce the angle of the swash plate of the pump, reduce the output flow of the pump, and restore the engine speed.

Troubleshooting

Trouble phenomenon: the engine smokes when digging under heavy load, sometimes it will stall

Inspection result: Check that the coil resistance of the EPC solenoid valve is 0, and confirm that the solenoid internal coil is burned out.

During heavy-duty excavation, the PC-EPC command to reduce the pump flow sent by the computer cannot be received. Therefore, the PC valve cannot control the pump flow under heavy load. Excessive pump flow causes the pump horsepower to be greater than the engine horsepower, so black smoke is emitted

Troubleshooting: Better EPC solenoid valve machine transfer is normal

Test

Remove oil pressure measuring plug 5, install M10 quick-change connector and 5.9Mpa oil pressure gauge.

Test Conditions

1. Hydraulic oil temperature: 45℃-55℃

2. Working mode: A mode (PC-8 P mode)

Where is the EPC valve on the excavator
